KATHLEEN (GOULART) BRENNAN

Kathleen (Goulart) Brennan passed away at home on Monday October 17, 2022, with her beloved husband Gary by her side. She was the daughter of the late John R and June (Caseday) Goulart. 

Kathleen lived a life full of titles and talents. She was a hospital and hospice chaplain, and a certified music practitioner. She used her extensive training in both areas to minister to the sick and dying. She also worked for over 20 years as the executive director of a nonprofit, Shepherd’s Center, which empowered and aided the elderly. Kathleen wrote a book that detailed her experience of losing a child to brain cancer. With her husband, she was the owner and creativedesigner of over 400 greeting cards and verses for their business, Life Greetings, which has operated since 1976. Most importantly in her life, she was wife to Gary for 54 years, and beloved mother to eight children and grandmother to 10. 

In addition to her husband Gary, she is survived by her children; Laura (David Fournier), Aaron (Indra), Christopher (Elizabeth), Scott, Daniel (Teresa), Jacob and Noah Brennan; ten grandchildren; her siblings, Judy Rosa, Johnny Goulart, Juanita Goulart, Jennifer Snyder and Karen (Robin Perry) Marks. She was predeceased by her daughter Kathleen (Erik Lomen) and her brother Joseph Goulart. She was best known for her love, compassion, and care for others, which was readily available to all who met her. She was truly a loving heart.
