Obituary
Kenneth “Kenny” Powers, 88, of Little Compton, passed away at home on Sunday, September 17, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Marion F.(Medeiros) Powers. Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Luther A. and Mary M. (White) Powers.
In addition to his wife Marion, he is survived by his brother-in-law William Medeiros (wife Lorraine), sister-in-law Lillian Marrow and many nieces and nephews.
Kenny served in the United States Army and was PFC from 1956-1958. He was employed by Raytheon Company, Waltham, MA and Microwave Associates of Burlington, MA for many years.
He was an enthusiast of aircraft and also enjoyed building model trains in his spare time. He was also a member of the Stow Lions Club and the Concord Minutemen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 10:00 am, Saint Catherine of Siena Church, 74 Simmons Road, Little Compton. Interment will immediately follow at Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, South of Commons Road.
