MICHAEL J. ALMEIDA, Jr.

Michael "Mikey" Joseph Almeida Jr, 45, of Tiverton, RI, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, due to complications following a surgical procedure.

Michael was born on December 1, 1980, to Michael Joseph Almeida Sr. and June Marie (Manchester) Almeida. Throughout Michael's life he was known for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor.

Michael enjoyed going for hikes in Weetamoo Woods, going to the Casino, watching old Western movies with his parents, and a good crime show. He never met a scratch ticket he didn't love and always thought he was going to win big!

Besides his parents, Michael is survived by his daughter Sasha Almeida, who he adored, a sister, June Almeida Corchado and her husband Louie, and a nephew, Anthony. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Louis A. Almeida and Louise(Rego)Almeida and maternal grandparents, John D. Manchester, Sr. and Alice C.(Helger)Manchester.

Services for Michael will be private. The family kindly requests no flowers.
