SUSAN LINDA (MANNOLINI) CORBETT

Susan L. Corbett, age 72, of 65 Cleveland Street, Norfolk, MA, died peacefully with her loving husband, William, by her side on September 9, 2022.

Born in Providence, RI on February 2, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Aldo Mannolini and Amelia (Sartini) Mannolini.

She attended the Newport Hospital School of Nursing and later received her Bachelors Degree of Nursing from Salve Regina University. She then went on to receive her MBA. Her nursing career spanned 46 years, retiring as Director of Nursing in a California healthcare facility. Susan will always be remembered for her devotion in caring for others.

Susan is survived by her husband William J. Corbett, her two sisters, Sharon Burgess and Sheryl Chicoine and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 74 Simmons Road, Little Compton, RI. Interment immediately following at Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, South of Commons, Little Compton. Visiting hours Saturday, prior to mass, 9:00-10:30 AM, at Fern Acres Funeral Home, 72 Willow Ave, Little Compton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s name may be made to Friends of Dana Farber, 450 Brookline Avenue, SW120, Boston, MA 02115.
